I'm David duChemin. I'm a photographer, writer, a former comedian, life-long entrepreneur, an iconoclast and a bit of a rabble-rouser. To the international photography community I'm a best-selling author and a voice of sanity in an industry that often leans more heavily toward the technical than the human and creative. To everyone else I'm the host of A Beautiful Anarchy and irreverent guide to everyday creativity. Welcome here.

I wake up with one purpose: to be part of creating a world in which everyone sees themselves as creative and finds the meaning, freedom, and joy in doing that their own way. Mostly I do that by writing. Sometimes those words end up in books. These are my most recent books. I wrote them for you in hopes that they'll be the nudge you need to take whatever next steps are yours.
