[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]You can make stronger photographs: images that connect and captivate and generate so much more than just clicks and likes and “great capture, man.” It’s got nothing to do with following the rules and buying the right camera and everything to do with learning the principles of composition.

My name is David duChemin, I’m a photographer specializing in world and humanitarian photography. I’m also a teacher and deeply passionate about this craft and those who practice it. I’ve taught photography on all seven continents and I’ve seen my students’ photographs improve dramatically as they’ve stopped fussing about which gear they used and started paying attention to composition and visual design.

Over the next couple weeks I’m releasing a total of 3 videos and – eventually – a chance to go deeper in your craft with The Compelling Frame. Trust me with your email and I’ll make sure you get notified about the next two videos, and I’ll send you The Contact Sheet – my way of staying in touch with photographers who are as passionate about photography as I am, with articles and resources I don’t make available anywhere else.[/text_block]
