TEN. Yours Free.

4 years ago I wrote a small eBook called TEN, Ten Ways to Improve Your Craft Without Buying Gear. It changed my life and put me on a path to do what I love: teaching photography and pursuing projects I long to do. Later this month we’ll celebrate our 4th anniversary of Craft & Vision, the unexpected little eBook company that kind of got away from me and became something amazing, and we’ll offer some crazy deals for a day or two to say thank you again. But before we do that we’re graduating TEN and making it free from this point on. It’s earned its way and now we’re putting it out to pasture and giving it away. If you don’t have a copy, it’s all yours. If you’ve read it and found it helpful, would you do me a favour and tell the people in your world who might also find it helpful? Use the social media buttons at the bottom of this post and tell the world – TEN is now free.

Stop spending so much money on gear and invest time learning your craft instead.

  1. Thanks so much for the free download.

I own several of your books and I love them! “Within the Frame” sits on my coffee table and is a big hit among my guests.

I feel like I’ve traveled the world with you through your photography and it’s been an amazing journey!

Again, thanks for the free book and for being a great virtual travel companion!

  4. Hi, have loads of your books, so thanks for the opportunity of free ten. BUT, on downloading said file may damage device, and on trying to open it won’t. Something wrong yr end?

    1. Author

Hi Stephen – Not sure what the issue is but we’ve had no other complaints after thousands of downloads. Maybe try again?

  5. It is a very valuable little book. I’m happy to spread the word.

I’d love to see an eBook that delves into your recent post about ‘sketching’. Just a thought…

  14. So grateful for the free download. I have purchased eight e books so far, have read them and now doing many of the exercises. 🙂 Such fun! I just completed WTF book and began Visionmongers yesterday. I feel like I can finally breathe! A kindred spirit you are David! I’m so grateful and appreciate not only your honesty, but also your grit. Thanks for not only encouraging us on in this quest of vision meeting art, but also in purity of passion and excellence. Liberating! A blessing beyond measure. Seriously. 🙂
